The Missouri Athletic Club blends the warmth of a social club with the distinction of an exclusive private club, and hotel grounded in tradition, enrichment, and meaningful connection. Behind its historic doors, Members and guests experience hospitality that is high-end yet welcoming to newcomers, families, and lifelong members alike.
Our cultural exchange program gives international participants the opportunity to gain hands-on hospitality experience while taking part in a wide range of cultural and team-building activities. Participants have enjoyed events such as St. Louis City soccer games, Cardinals baseball games, Employee Appreciation Week, holiday celebrations, and seasonal activities like pumpkin decorating and gingerbread house contests. Throughout their program, participants receive ongoing training, mentorship, and support from our management team and department supervisors, all of whom bring extensive hospitality experience. This approach ensures participants benefit from both professional development and meaningful cultural enrichment.

Opportunity Details
Food and Beverage-13.75 per hour
The pay rate varies by rotation, and some positions may be in tipped roles. The rate listed on the training plan reflects the minimum guaranteed wage, as this is the guaranteed amount the participant will always receive. As is typical with tipped roles, actual earnings are expected to be higher. The manager will provide additional details about the pay rates for each rotation during the interview.
Housing Details
A 14 day hotel stay upon arrival. Rent is an average of $500-$700 per person per month for shared bedrooms, property will provide housing referrals. Be prepared to bring first, last months for rent.
Arrival
Lambert–St. Louis International Airport is the nearest airport. We offer a shuttle service for employee pickups during business hours. Must provide at least 7 days notice and get proper notice for pickup assistance from airport. If travel occurs outside of business hours, we may be able to arrange transportation through Lyft or Uber.
Additional Details
The Club will provide all uniform items except for shoes, belts, pants, socks, and undergarments.
You are responsible for laundering and pressing your uniforms. Maintaining a neat and professional appearance is essential.
The Club provides one (1) complimentary meal per shift worked, Monday through Friday. Meal and break times will be scheduled at the discretion of your supervisor.
