Fly into Grand Junction Regional Airport (GJT). Host will provide airport pickup if you arrive Monday -Friday between 9am and 4pm Mountain Time and provide 5 days notice on Arrival.
If you do not provide proper notice on arrival and arrive outside on arrival times noted you will need to secure hotel for the night until host can pick you up during designated pickup times.

Following J-1 rules, you can extend your training to a total of 12 months by finding a second employer. AJ1 does not facilitate this process, you will be provided with resources, including tips on finding opportunities, crafting a great introduction letter, and building a professional resume. Having the chance to experience two different training opportunities is truly an incredible benefit especially for someone who is passionate about building a long-term career in hospitality. Although 2nd placement cannot be guaranteed, to date AJ1 has placed 100% participants who requested extension from their initial program.
Participants who choose to extend their program after completing their initial placement will have their extension fee waived and will be responsible for paying the remaining balance of a full twelve-month program.

Rent: $260 per month per person
Deposit: $300 per person
Includes all utilities (electric, heat, water, internet & satellite) and laundry facility.
Shared Onsite housing. Bedrooms are shared with roommates of same gender.
